Gale, Burgundy’s friend, asks writing questions to Pupola

Part of Pupola’s 5 Day Visit of Never One’s Characters

Gale: Hi everyone. You met Rosy yesterday. I’m Gale. I will be inquiring how Pupola got organized with Never One, or she just spun in her chair and banged on the keyboard with her feet.

Pupola: Hey! But that was funny. This seat is comfy not just nice looking.

Gale: I know, right? Having both is the best.

Pupola: I did throw bananas at the wall.

Gale: No fibbing. *waving her pointer finger*

Pupola: But I did. *crossing my fingers behind my back*

Gale: Ahem. Did you write a detailed outline with subheadings under subheadings under subheadings under subheadings for Never One?

Pupola: No, not really.

Gale: You wrote it as you went?

Pupola: Mostly. When I got the idea, I knew the ending right away too. Burgundy too. I jotted down the number of chapters and some notes in each chapter.

Gale: Cool. Outlines can be burdensome to figure out. I never really liked doing them for school either. Let me just do the paper already! Did you refer to your chapters cheat sheet a lot?

Pupola: Nope. When I wrote it, I internalized it mostly. If I needed to elaborate on a chapter, I broke it down on a blank page or more. Then when the first draft was done, lotsa editing. Almost endless!

Gale: I hope you didn’t have to edit me that much! *giggling*

Pupola: I don’t remember. It was so bare!

Gale: Hahahahaha!

Pupola: Hahahahaha!

Gale: That ends the tour. Hoped you enjoyed it! I know I did.

Pupola: Thanks for reading. *falls asleep and starts snoring*

Gale: These seats are really comfy. *gets up to leave to join her friends at a local diner*
